Presence: Skills for Mindful Living
The focus of this Mindfulness/ Hatha Yoga group is to learn ways that stress impacts the physiological stress response in the body and influences thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Learn scientific benefits of mindfulness meditation with a variety of techniques that can help to enhance overall well-being and address life stressors. A gentle yoga practice is facilitated and offers a variety of accessible poses that can help to relieve tension and nourish the body. Each session concludes with a mindfulness meditation practice. A variety of counselling and mindfulness resources are provided each week to integrate mindfulness into daily living and to aid in stress-relief.

Yoga Nidra Meditation: Skills for Stress-Reduction
Yoga Nidra is a powerful meditative practice that is intended to induce physical, mental and emotional relaxation. This session includes psychoeducation on ways in which stress impacts the mind and body, scientific benefits related to this type of meditation, support in establishing a wellness intention, a gentle and accessible yoga flow, meditation, and resources for personal growth. This style of meditation is highly guided and encompasses many present moment cues that can foster deep relaxation and aid in stress-reduction.

Relax & Revitalize: Skills to Manage Anxiety
Learn coping strategies for anxiety drawing from cognitive-behavioural and mindfulness-based practices in a warm and welcoming environment. This 6 hour session will include teaching, meditative practice, gentle discussion and yoga. Take home resources will be provided.
