Psychologist, PhD, RPsych
I work with clients to explore painful, stuck areas in their lives in order to open the possibility of relating to themselves and others in more adaptive, accepting, and meaningful ways. Issues clients commonly present with in my practice include depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, and relationship issues. I strive to understand the unique struggles and strengths of each client and from this understanding develop an appropriate treatment plan. I offer individual therapy, and also enjoy doing couples and family therapy.
I am a Registered Psychologist in Alberta with over nine years of experience. I am also registered as a Clinical Psychologist in Ontario. I meet with my Ontario clients online using a secure platform such as VSee or Zoom.
My first and fundamental goal is to make my clients feel safe and understood. I believe that compassion, non-judgment, and a good client-therapist relationship are at the heart of excellence in all clinical work. NOTE: After making contact, my administrative assistant or I will be happy to return your call or email to initiate the intake process.
