My name is Kelsy Mag and, like you, I have had experiences in my life that have informed the ways I show up in and view the world. Being queer and neurodivergent I have had experiences that have led me to work from an anti-oppressive and strengths-based lens in my therapeutic space. I like working with people who are 2SLGBTQ+, neurodivergent, highly-sensitive, adults, students, and those who are tired of diets and feeling like their body is wrong. I work both in-person and virtually with Curio Counselling in Calgary.
My therapeutic approach is client centered and it draws from various modalities. The therapeutic relationship will be a focus of our work together and I have a genuine interest in your experiences. My clinical focus is self-concept, anxiety, depression, religious trauma, ADHD, relationship issues, and fat liberation; you will not hear diet talk from me.
If you need help navigating your world or overcoming challenges I would be honoured to be able to help you find change and improvement. We will walk through your therapy journey together and will develop our treatment plan and goals collaboratively.
