I provide individual counselling and EMDR therapy in Squamish and online across BC, with a focus on supporting those with trauma, anxiety, and concerns around substance use or drinking. My holistic approach combines body-focused (somatic) and mind-focused (cognitive) techniques, including EMDR, mindfulness, ACT, CBT, and IFS/parts work. Together, we explore past patterns, build self-awareness, and develop practical tools to navigate challenges and create lasting change that feels personally meaningful.
I have extensive experience supporting clients who are struggling with substances, alcohol, and other addictive behaviours. I adapt my approach to meet you where you are in your goals for change, whether it's aiming for abstinence, moderation, or harm reduction. Feeling unsure about making changes is a normal part of the change process.
I believe in building a genuine connection with each of my clients. My priority is to create a safe and non-judgmental space, where you can feel at ease to be your authentic self and work on what matters to you. Counselling is known to be a space for hard feelings, which are very welcome; however, I also invite lightness and humour to the room.
