We sometimes find ourselves lacking in the opportunity to experience joy, creativity, meaning, and connection in our lives. At Ohana, we support the exploration of what it is that may be preventing you from being the person you want to be and healing in a way that allows you to have these experiences.
I believe that you are the expert in your own healing and wellness but recognize that sense of agency, how much we feel in control, is defined by our relationship with our bodies and its rhythms. For this reason, I combine mindfulness and relaxing yoga practice with narrative therapy, internal family systems therapy, and EMDR to support healing.
As a narrative therapist, I believe that there is sometimes something blocking the path on your journey to wellness and it is my desire to aid in the identification of that obstacle with the intention of bearing witness to the re-authoring of your story without that obstacle preventing you from moving forward in your life.
