Hello and welcome! I am a Psychotherapist/Registered Social Worker with over 20 years of clinical practice with adults, kids/teens, couples & families. Many clients I work with are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, current and past relational issues stemming from unresolved trauma and/or unmet attachment needs. Together we will explore ongoing challenges to uncover their origins; gaining insight, strengthening resiliency and working towards meaningful change. Feeling comfortable with your therapist is first and foremost, so I offer a free phone consultation to see if we may be a good fit.
I have extensive education and training in various theoretical and clinical modalities, such as psychodynamic, EFT, CBT & solution focused. These modalities allow me to practice in a way that uniquely fits with each individual I work with. This allows the focus of our work to be on issues in the present, past, and/or associated with life's transitions.
I have been teaching graduate level courses since 2011 in psychodynamic theory, EFT, CBT, research, family and group therapy in the MSW departments at UofT and Smith College.
