Welcome to my profile! I am a registered social worker with over 18 years of experience working with children, youth, adults, and families in a variety of settings. I have worked with non-profit organizations, foster and residential treatment homes, employment counselling, and supporting and advocating for women who are survivors of intimate partner violence and are navigating the family law system.
My clients and I work together to develop a treatment method that works best for them. I work from a variety of modalities including CBT, Solution-Focussed Therapy, and Attachment Theory. I use an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed approach, and my goal is to make my client feel as comfortable as possible during our time together.
I have developed a non-judgmental and empathetic approach with my clients. Using a variety of modalities as well as my own professional experience, I will meet with you to discuss what has brought you to therapy, your goals for our time together, and how we can collaboratively meet those goals and develop your skills and self-empowerment.
