About
Congratulations on taking the first step toward a happier, healthier you! Reaching out can sometimes be the hardest part. Are you experiencing low mood, loss of energy, anxiousness, or hopelessness? Do you have difficulty facing situations, people, & places? Are you experiencing feelings of guilt and worthlessness? What about difficulty with relationships in your life? Have you had some extremely difficult things happen and are looking for a space to heal from these experiences? My hope is to walk alongside you on your journey and help you achieve your goals toward feeling better.
I have worked as a Clinical Social Worker for 11 years, and in the Human Services field for 5 years prior to that. I hold a Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in Mental Health & Health from the University of Toronto. I am fully trained in CBT, DBT, Prolonged Exposure for PTSD, & some training in other various modalities.
I work from a client-centered approach (clients are the experts in identifying their needs and what direction to go). I offer in-person, phone, and video sessions (all secure, encrypted, and PIPEDA compliant). Sessions are available some mornings, afternoons, and evenings during the week. Please check with me for further availability.
