I am a registered clinical psychologist who works with adults struggling with issues such as trauma, disordered eating, emotional dysregulation, and religious conflict. I work with individuals and couples. I am committed to creating a safe space for clients of different gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, and people with different types of romantic and/or sexual relationships. I take a collaborative, feminist, and empathetic approach, ensuring I am providing evidence-based treatment. Additionally, I offer assessments for adults for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
As a certified EMDRIA therapist, I use EMDR to treat complex trauma. Other approaches I use include DBT, CBT, IFS, and CBTE. I specialize in treating issues such as low sexual desire, shame around kink and sexual interests, difficulties with orgasm, erectile issues, and sexual pain. When working with relationships, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy.
I hold a B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Utah and a M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology from Acadia University. I look forward to creating a trusting relationship, a process I find profoundly fulfilling and healing.
