My name is Katja and I offer counselling for teens and adults living in British Columbia.
I am originally from Germany, and immigrated to Canada in 2020, where I have since worked in the field and gained experience with different populations and client concerns. I believe healing looks different for everyone, and I am here to support you on your unique journey. My work is grounded in somatic attachment psychotherapy, an approach that recognizes the deep connection between the mind and body, and supports healing from relational ruptures.
I specialize in helping adults navigate the lasting effects of relational trauma, insecure attachment, and relationship challenges. While I have a particular passion for supporting women, I welcome clients of all genders who find themselves caught in patterns of people-pleasing, anxiety, fear of abandonment, or struggles with emotional intimacy.
Together, we explore how past experiences shape current relationships and work toward building secure attachment, healthy boundaries, self-worth, and more fulfilling connections with others.
