With over 20 years of clinical experience, I am committed to providing a therapeutic space for you to explore your experiences and challenges. Whether you're seeking clarity about an issue you are struggling with or simply not sure where to turn for help, together we can determine your next steps and strategies to help you feel your best. Much of my practice is working with children/youth (ages 8+), adults, and families. I have experience in areas of interpersonal relationships, grief/loss, childhood trauma involving domestic and sexual violence, depression, anxiety, and life adjustments (divorce, co-parenting, blended families).
Through a client-centred and trauma informed approach my treatment interventions draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and play based interventions with children.
With my training and clinical expertise I recognize that reaching out for help is not always an easy endeavour because it opens us up to being vulnerable.
