I am passionate about supporting individuals in a welcoming therapeutic setting and enjoy working with clients who are looking to feel more connected to themselves and others. I believe in establishing a relationship with clients built on trust and genuine care, and I tailor my approach to meet each client’s needs and goals. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Ontario) and Registered Counselling Therapist (Nova Scotia) with specialized training in Internal Family Systems (IFS). I completed Level 1 Professional Training through the IFS Institute and integrate IFS as a primary modality in my work.
Counselling can provide an opportunity to work together to implement change, learn new skills to cope, decrease suffering, increase self-compassion, and overall live more fully. I see counselling as a meaningful opportunity to build trust and hope, walk with people through their struggles, and support them in finding greater wholeness, resilience, and joy.
My approach to counselling is one of deep empathy and compassion, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based person-centred support. I see it as a privilege to get to know my clients as authentic individuals and to bear witness to their stories. My goal is for you to feel accompanied, empowered, and strongly supported throughout the therapeutic process.
