I am a registered clinical psychologist with extensive experience working with adults ages 19 years and older. I have had the privilege of working in many different settings, including hospital, community mental health, school, university and private practice. My goal is to ensure a safe, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I believe that such a relationship facilitates healing and meaningful growth, as clients explore ways to cope and deal with life's challenges. The process of therapy fosters a safe environment that allows individuals to have the courage to be vulnerable and make changes.
I offer individual and group psychological services for adults ages 19 and over. I am also interested and have experience working with diverse groups (race and ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, etc.). Areas of practice include: Anxiety, Depression, Loss & Grief, Trauma, Stress Management, Health Related Issues. Workplace Stress .
I believe that meaningful change and growth is a result of building a safe, compassionate relationship based on trust and respect. I use empirically-based therapies, individualized and to each person's specific needs.
