At all stages of life individuals and families can find themselves wanting change. Approaches to counselling need to fit the needs of the individuals looking for support. My practice focuses primarily on supporting children, teens and young adults navigate issues related to relationships, family dynamics, self identity, anxiety and stress. Young children often have difficulty expressing themselves verbally. Children are invited to express themselves in counselling through art, puppetry, sand and play.
While I primarily work with young children and youth, I also have expertise in supporting adults who are struggling with interpersonal relationships. Anger management and healthy relationship development are topics that I enjoy exploring with others.
Creating a warm and comfortable environment is a priority for me. I understand the importance of finding a therapist that feels like a "good fit" for you or your family.
