I help people diminish the impacts of anxiety, burnout and trauma. Are you feeling exhausted in your work or personal life, noticing patterns of unhealthy behaviours or relationships, or stuck in the burden of fear or grief? (All of which make sense in today's world, particularly for people most impacted by systemic harm.) I can help you build somatic skills to access the wisdom of your body. You can increase the capacity of your own nervous system, and feel more calm, more connection and more pleasure in life.
I specialize in somatic therapy - increasing access to the wisdom of the body. Somatic Experiencing works directly with the nervous system to heal the impacts of trauma or overwhelm, and re-organize the system toward greater health. As a movement educator, I bring awareness of sensation, movement and mindfulness into your healing process.
