Are you grieving the loss of your pet? Are you finding it hard to cope with heavy feelings and thoughts yet feeling like "I should be able to just 'get over' it? I understand. I offer clients space and support to cope with distressing thoughts and emotions. I believe that every client can find meaning and richness in life with the right support. I strive to offer clients empathy, caring, and compassion. I aim to create a space where clients can express their most difficult feelings, thoughts, or situations when they are grieving.

I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Dalhousie University. I have worked in human services with adults and families for nearly 25 years. I am also a registered veterinary technician. My areas of interest are pet loss and veterinary workplace issues.

In this eight-week virtual program you will meet others who are going through similar pain. Residents of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, and Newfoundland are eligible for the program. Fee is $325 (no tax) for eight sessions. There is a limit of ten participants. Tender Tails is eligible for reimbursement with most extended health care plan providers.
