About
Life can be difficult. It can be exhausting, challenging, unfair, and full of pain and loss. Sometimes we feel anxious, depressed, confused, stressed out and we don’t know how to handle it. Maybe you feel lost, at your wits-end, stuck and unsure how to carry on. Maybe you’re looking for a way forward. Maybe you’re hoping to uncover the strengths you already have. I use a non-judgemental, collaborative, person-centered approach that puts you in the driver’s seat. I am caring and authentic, and I strive to provide a space where you feel safe and comfortable.
We will work together to determine which tools and techniques fit best for you. I typically use elements of cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectal behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
I completed my training and Master of Arts at the University of Western Ontario, and have experience working with adults (18+) with various concerns. I am amazed and humbled by the resilient individuals I have the privilege to work with. I am passionate about helping people to see their strengths and working with them to facilitate growth.
