As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with an Honours BA from Queen’s University and a Master’s in Counselling from Yorkville University, I offer individual and family therapy for ages 5 and up in my private practice, Katharyn Davis Counselling, located within Rising Phoenix.
I support clients facing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, depression, grief, behavioural challenges, and relationship or school-related stress.
My practicum was completed under the supervision of Lyndsay Foster, where I deepened my work with children using play and creative expression to support developmentally sensitive exploration. With youth and adults, I integrate emotion-focused and dialectical approaches to help process experiences and foster meaningful change.
I bring warmth, curiosity, and compassion to the therapy space—balancing gentleness and validation with a playful, open approach.
