I have had the great privilege to work with a diversity of clients. Throughout my 30 years in the field, I have worked with individuals, children/adolescents, couples, families, and more recently worked with veterans, military members, RCMP, and first responders. I practice a milieu of modalities and use talk therapy, and non-talk therapy to address areas such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, emotional regulation, trauma, and so much more. My key focus when working with clients is being their support on their journey of change. Keys to my success with clients are trust, understanding, and working together to find mental wellness.
Clients report that when they meet with me they like that they have a choice in their treatment modality. I offer talk therapy where I work with individuals, adolescents, and couples and we will address problem areas through discussion. In terms of treating PTSD or trauma, I use non-talk therapy such as brainspotting, neurofeedback, and biofeedback.
I LOVE what I do! Throughout the past 30 years of working with clients, I have come to respect the power of change through a trusting professional relationship. I am empathic, intuitive and understand my clients. I show compassion, but also challenge clients to see and value their self-worth and their resiliency. I am a cheerleader for change!
