Welcome! I specialize in working with adults experiencing life challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma and stress. I also support individuals grappling with life transitions, relationship concerns and parenting challenges, as well as those experiencing grief, loss and a wide range of other mental health related concerns. I support my clients to gain greater self awareness and to identify patterns of thought and behavior that may be 'getting in the way' of a fulfilling life. I encourage my clients to set realistic goals and to work intentionally towards these goals with the support of a well crafted plan.
As a registered social worker and therapist, I have over 30 years of experience working with both youth and adult populations. I work from a strengths-based, client centered and trauma-informed perspective. I support my clients in identifying places where they are 'stuck' and assist them in crafting goals to improve life quality.
The most important determinant of the success of therapy, is in the relationship between the client and the therapist. It is crucial that you as the client, feel 'seen'.
