My experiences as a neurodivergent queer non-binary individual has informed my therapeutic approach and desire to work with clients from similar backgrounds. I enjoy working with neurodivergent and queer clients who want to explore identity and community. I mainly work with clients on areas related to identity, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and PTSD, body acceptance, and gender and sexuality. I am sex-worker friendly, sex positive, kink-knowledgeable, and ENM-aware therapist. I strive to make my practice a safer space for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
I use a collaborative model for therapy that integrates body-based trauma-informed methods for healing. I draw from several approaches based on the client’s needs and presenting concerns, including: Internal Family Systems, Somatic and Mindfulness Modalities, and Dialect Behavioural Therapy.
It takes vulnerability to start this journey, and I try to protect and honor that vulnerability in my practice. My purpose is to help individuals build better relationships with themselves. I do this by providing individuals with a safe environment to explore difficult topics, to build skills for self-regulation, and to connect with their internal values.
