Karonyahawi (She Carries the Sky) Counselling Services offers Healing with Kindness using a lens of unconditional love, wisdom, and understanding to guide my practice. Therapies used are Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, Family Systems Theory (Inner Child), Narrative Therapy, Psychodrama, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Cultural practices.

My personal healing journey allows me to hold space for you to safely journey inward to identify, understand, express, and release the unresolved pain. I am an approved Mental Health Provider through Non Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) for First Nation and Inuit Program. If you are a registered band member and hold a status card your counselling sessions will be covered, however, missed appointments will be your responsibility to cover.

I work with individuals who carry intergenerational trauma that is carried on from parents, grandparents, and great grandparents i.e residential school. During our sessions we create a calm safe space needed to share the depths of the emotional pain and memories they have been carrying for years and some decades. I like to use a strengths based approach to help clients begin where they are at and build upon our therapeutic alliance. Making a way for them to see their power and to change their narrative and be who they truly know they are, outside of the labels they carry.
