Modern motherhood and the path to get there can be messy. I work with women from the start of their fertility journey through pregnancy, post-partum and all the stages of parenting. Clients are working through fertility challenges, pregnancy losses and birth/NICU trauma. They're making sense of this time of transition and are processing points of stress, overwhelm and anxiety. I work with moms to better understand their child's behaviour and the overall mental load and why it can be so dysregulating. Most of all, I'm passionate about being a supportive member of your village as you navigate the ups and downs of motherhood.
For 20 years, I've had the privilege of providing therapy services to women throughout the many phases of their mothering journey. I have specialized training in Perinatal/Maternal Mental Health, in EMDR for trauma, in CBT for anxiety and depression, in Grief and Loss and in Developmental and Attachment-based models for Parent and Relationship challenges.
I offer a kind and collaborative approach, taking your lead in setting the goals and pace for our work together. I have confidence that therapy can help ease the impact of the many challenges that come with motherhood and can help bring more joy and calm to these mothering years.
