I work with couples and Individuals that have experienced any type of relationship trauma or disconnect in their relationship. I work to help these couples feel like they are in a different space where they can work on communication, connection and closeness. In addition, I use tools so that the couple build their own self-awareness to the negative cycle of conflict that transpires in the relationship. The clients I work with also work on self regulation skills to support the past hurt and wounds left from past interpersonal relationships
Many clients struggle to understand and express their feelings. I work to have clients notice their deeper emotions and build self awareness on how interpersonal relationships cause triggers to occur. For example creates feelings of shame, guilt, sadness and anger that make us struggle to regulate in day to day social relationships
I strive to create a culturally-safe, trusting, and respectful therapeutic relationship. You will be met with compassion, respect, and faith in your abilities! I value the therapeutic benefits that come from being challenged and presented with honesty - my commitment to you.
