Often people seek out counselling when a situation feels too difficult to understand and figure out alone. In an effort to deal with difficult emotions, we can find that the things we do or say make the situation worse, push us further away from the people we want to be, or the people we want to be close to, and prevent us from fully living the life we want. In my practice I work with adults to understand your emotions, and optimize your personal strengths and growth. I work from a trauma informed, evidence-based perspective using multiple techniques and approaches to best fit your goals and needs.
I work with adults in the areas of of interpersonal development, emotion regulation, relationship issues, self compassion, communication strategies, family conflict, parenting, grief, building healthier relationships, and coping skills. I enjoy working with individuals and couples to help them feel more fulfilled in their lives and relationships.
I understand and believe in the importance of finding a good fit between a client(s) and their counsellor. My goal is to provide a space of empathetic support, where you, at your own pace, can talk about the things that are difficult and important to you.
