I am a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist in Ontario. I provide psychotherapy services from an anti-oppressive framework using a client-centered or family-centered approach to meet the various needs of my clientele. I specialize in trauma, relationship issues, domestic violence, PTSD, addiction, anxiety, attachment, grief and loss, and other mental health concerns. I utilize various treatment tools in individual or group settings, including, CBT, Narrative, EFT, Mindfulness, DBT, Strength and System approaches. We also do cognitive and behavioural assessment and testing at our centers through a Registered Psychologist.
I help my clients work through trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression and relationship issues by creating a personal model of resilience with them, building a positive attitude and regaining hope for the future. My strengths-based therapeutic approach can help you improve your relationships and build personal resilience.
I have a unique approach that focuses first on rapport building, as research has shown this is the number one factor that makes therapy effective. I work to understand how you process information, then develop a therapeutic approach that best suites your specific needs. I am a very active therapist.
