I am a Registered Social Worker holding a Master's in Social Work from York University. Prior to coming to Social Work, I did Doctoral work in education and taught at York University and Seneca College. I specialize in working with young adults with mild to moderate depression and anxiety, as well as individuals who identify as LGBTQ2SIA. I also provide services to parents and families supporting young people in distress.
My practice is fiercely queer friendly, sex positive and anti-racist. I use multi-modal therapies including psychodynamic, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and narrative therapy. I have also recently completed a training in DBT therapy.
