I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#10205) with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors. I offer individual and couple's counselling services addressing a diverse array of life challenges. I draw from several modalities including cognitive behavioural, dialectical behavioural, Adlerian, narrative and emotion focused therapies. My counselling style is underpinned by the belief that you, the client, are the expert in your own life. I will work with you in a solution focused, goal oriented way in an effort to understand your goals and hopes for counselling. Together, we will work to meet your goals and make tangible, concrete progress towards them.
I have several years experience working as a clinical counsellor for a local agency specializing in trauma counselling. I also have experience working in addictions counselling and have, more generally, worked with adults and youth addressing a wide variety of life and family challenges.
