Helping clients connect to their strengths and to then leverage these traits in service of personal goals of health and happiness briefly describes my orientation to counselling work. My professional training and experience in both business and healthcare, and my personal life path have informed a broad understanding of the challenges faced in living and how to best engage these challenges successfully.
I am an accredited service provider to Employee Assistance Plan managers, Veterans Affairs Canada, and Indigenous Services Canada and also have extensive experience in supporting persons involved with the Justice system of Parole and Probation. Areas of clinical specialization include marital conflict, substance misuse, anger management, and trauma.
An initial consulting appointment by telephone is without charge and available after hours or on weekends. Regular sessions are also flexibly timed and are at a fee of $125.00 per appointment of one hour length. Meetings may go longer at the mutual discretion of client and myself without additional fee.
