Do you often feel overwhelmed, shut down, or like you’re constantly masking parts of yourself just to get through the day? When pain feels persistent, many people try to disconnect from their bodies or long for an escape from how they feel. You’re not alone. Many of my clients have felt like outliers, misunderstood, uncertain about who they are, or stuck in unhelpful relationship patterns, including with themselves. I’m here to support you in developing emotional awareness, strengthening coping and regulation skills, improving communication, and creating a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and aligned with your values.

Right now our world is at a new level of unpredictability and may be triggering uncomfortable feelings. I am here to create a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences within transitions life presents. In our work together we practice and reflect on the integration of new strategies to meet your needs on a deeper level, often involving mindfulness and self-compassion, trauma informed somatic experiencing, and attachment and ego-state (i.e. inner child & critic) therapeutic approaches.

There are so many things to balance in life, whether it’s work, relationships, or personal wellbeing. Meanwhile, we are often also trying to manage our pasts and our futures too! Anxiety, depression, or stress can be pervasive throughout. So let’s team up and give you a space to be real and authentic about everything that’s going on. This is the place to explore, to grow, to grieve, to be frustrated, and to think and feel.

The unexamined life creates more suffering not only for ourselves but for those around us. By examining it, we will see that life gets better, easier, more attuned. In turn, we feel better, which translates into greater decisions and an overall more skillful way of being. Due to life's constant fluctuations, we will find ourselves in periods where we hurt and may be overwhelmed by it. It is during these times where we may realize that we may have missed a manual on how to live and we may comprehend that "The Good Life" is not an instinct, but a learned skill.
