Have you been asking yourself, Is this really it? Maybe wondering, How did I end up here, and what comes next? Perhaps a quiet part of you already senses it’s time for change. I work with busy individuals and professionals who are tired of coping in silence. Having spent ten years in the federal public service and being raised by a dedicated, now-retired nurse, I understand the pressure to hold it all together. My own experience with burnout taught me the importance of living intentionally. Now I help clients reconnect with their soul, align with their values, and rediscover a steadier sense of peace and wholeness within.

Anxiety often shows up in unique ways for adult children of immigrants. From an early age, you may have learned to put the needs of others before your own. Carrying the weight of family and societal expectations can sometimes make you feel like you need to keep everyone else happy, even at the expense of your own well-being. This can create an invisible pressure to live up to roles you never chose. Over time, this can lead to self-doubt, guilt, or constant worry about disappointing others. With therapy, you don’t have to face these challenges alone.

I work with gay and bi men and queer individuals navigating anxiety, overthinking, emotional suppression, and the pressure to appear put together while feeling disconnected underneath. Some struggle with self-esteem, loneliness despite social connections, or patterns around closeness, sex, and vulnerability. Others are processing identity, minority stress, family acceptance, body image, or the lingering impact of earlier experiences that shaped how safe it feels to be open or emotionally known. Therapy offers a space to understand these experiences without having to explain the context around sexuality, relationships, or belonging.

My therapy style is grounded in curiosity, respect, and meeting you where you are. Therapy with me blends reflection with the learning of practical skills, and is built on the belief that meaningful change starts with truly feeling heard.

I believe every person is unique, and so is their story. Trauma, relationships, illness, and societal barriers can profoundly shape how we perceive ourselves and the world, and how we interact with others. These factors create a complex tapestry of beliefs, values, and dreams, influencing each person's distinct identity and worldview. Growing up in a small town, I often felt heavy silence around mental health issues; this fuelled my passion for understanding human emotion and behaviour. Since then, I've had the privilege of helping people navigate their challenges and achieve their goals, using a holistic and collaborative approach.
