It can be easy to view mental health as a kind of fixed state of “wellness” we should strive for. Through my work with others and experiences in my own life, I have learned that it is more productive to think of mental health like a verb: a changing, evolving process that requires new insights and approaches over time. Whether life is knocking us down, we are knocking ourselves down, or a bit of both, therapy is a great way to find the tools to manage life’s challenges more effectively. Learning new skills is critical, and so too is building a more compassionate relationship ourselves.
I have been working in the field for over a decade and I have experience across a broad spectrum of mental health settings. I am offering services to help with feelings of depression, anxiety, anger/emotion regulation, ADHD, concurrent disorders, psychosis, and dual diagnosis.
Thank you for your consideration. It is my intention to offer a supportive, culturally respectful space for you with your privacy and confidence as my top priority. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to book a free, 15-minute phone consultation to see if my skill set matches what you're looking for, or if my personality is a good fit.
