Hello! I’m Junyao, a therapist working independently. My approach is person-centred. I collaborate closely with clients to ensure each session is tailored to their needs in the moment, whether that involves navigating current stressors such as work or relationships, or exploring past trauma. My sessions are conversational, with a focus on recognizing patterns and developing insight. I also incorporate DBT skills to support emotional regulation. We will process difficult emotions together, and I bring a warm, bubbly, and supportive presence—so you don’t have to feel intimidated. We’ll find the right balance together at your pace.

I am passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced medical gaslighting, including those who are neurodivergent (ADHD/ASD/AuDHD) or living with chronic health conditions such as lupus. I also support clients navigating childhood trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, depression, panic /anxiety attacks, and social isolation.

I am dedicated to providing a validating space where clients can process their struggles, heal, and move toward a life with hope. I understand that change can be challenging, and I believe we can work together to break old patterns and create something new and meaningful.
