Accepting Clients. We provide services to youth, individual adults, and parents. Common concerns we support are anxiety, depression, grief, OCD, trauma, self-harm, and those facing life stress and difficult life transitions. We have nine highly knowledgeable therapists at Juniper; each with their own strong area of training and specialization. Our therapists are compassionate, friendly, and down-to-earth. We would be happy to connect with you to find out which therapist might be your best match! We provide counselling in-person (south Kanata) or online/phone. Our services are covered by most insurance companies.
Our main methodologies are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); however, we integrate many other therapeutic methodologies to ensure client progress. We have therapists that are trained and supervised in EMDR for trauma.
Our counselling team is made up of therapists with big hearts and their own life experiences. This means that they may not have your exact struggles, but they are familiar with feelings suffering. Our goals is to help you feel less alone and to help find a hopeful way forward. You may not believe it now, but you are worth it.
