Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, or overcome with grief? Maybe you are consumed by a chronic sense of dissatisfaction; or feeling distraught after a life-changing trauma. Whatever the trouble is, you do not need to face it alone. Therapy can be an effective way to rebuild your sense of well-being, improve your relationships, and increase your capacity to cope with all the unexpected things life brings. My practice is trauma-informed, relational and my approach is nonjudgemental, empathic and direct.
In our work together, we will pay close attention to the ways in which your relationships, both past and present, function. We will notice what comes up in the present moment, unearth unconscious tendencies, and take note of the ways in which long-standing behavioural patterns and coping strategies may no longer be serving you.
I am conscious of the ways that systemic oppression, marginalization, and racism impact mental health and I operate from an anti-oppressive, feminist lens.
