About
Being in a culture that asks you to shrink yourself, your needs, and your beliefs can be exhausting. This may be impacting how you experience your mood (depression or anxiety), body, food, relationships or the spaces you occupy. There may be ways that you protect the more tender parts of you that get in the way of being more in line with your values, and finally having the relationship with yourself and others that you have always wanted. You might be feeling overwhelmed by changes you need to make and simply don't know where to begin. You deserve to live a rich, expansive life, and to have deep, meaningful connections.
At the core of my work is the belief that people are people, and problems are problems. People are not their problems. Sometimes problems feel like they are such a big part of you, it’s hard to tell where you begin and it ends. Regardless of the problem, I believe that the essence of who you are is not defined by your emotional, or motivational issues.
The therapeutic relationship we build together can be a container for learning the skills that will bring you closer to your mental health goals. Your needs for relational safety matter. I would love to support you in unpacking harmful belief systems about your life that may have held you back from being your most empowered, authentic self.
