My work as a full-time Hospital Social Worker has given me hands-on experience, particularly in mental health care across different settings like geriatric rehabilitation, emergency medicine, and psychiatric care. My background in psychotherapy has sharpened my skills in both group and individual therapy, especially when it comes to helping kids and teens.
I’m all about really getting to know my clients and what they need, which is why I focus on thorough assessments and creating personalized plans that make sense for each individual. I use a mix of evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and narrative therapy, making sure to tailor my approach.
I’m passionate about advocating for marginalized communities, and I make sure to keep detailed records of my work to ensure I’m providing the best care. I offer both one-on-one and group therapy sessions for youth and adults, and I always aim to create a supportive, understanding environment. My goal is to make sure my clients feel heard and supported.
