I offer feminist, trauma-centred therapy that works collaboratively to understand your internal world in meaningful ways. I am attuned to how family webs (present and ancestral), environments, and structural systems can influence the stories we carry about ourselves while holding space for the possibility other narratives, experiences, and emotions might also be central and important pieces to your identity. By exploring current location, childhood, significant attachments and experiences, and body-based wisdom I believe we will gain a richer understanding of who you are while working towards more emotional balance in your life.
I am a settler of Dutch and Irish descent and exist in spaces with white, cis, straight-sized, and able-bodied privileges. My therapeutic approach blends together narrative, attachment, parts, and expressive theories and I strive to consistently act in ways that are aligned with my justice oriented values.
Co-creating therapeutic experiences that are non-judgemental and non-pathologizing is central to my work; making spaces safe enough for you to bring your whole self, in all its nuances and complexities, to session. We will move at the speed of trust and I will not abandon you in this heart-heavy work of introspection and growth. All of you is welcome here.
