I’ve been a Social Worker for over 36 years. I have worked with individuals in Adult & Child Protection, psychiatric units, and emergency departments. I have a passion in working with individuals living with mental illness and addictions. I have also worked with youth in complex cases and crisis situations. I have counselled adults and children in homeless shelters and youth involved in human trafficking. I have counselled individuals who are involved with Correction Services of Canada on parole, while they resided in half way house. I promote social justice, diversity & inclusion with a trauma informed family centred approach.
I offer focused approach in mental health and addiction. I encourage individuals to maintain their integrity while exploring all positive life options in making realistic choices that help in their healing. I offer CBT & DBT therapeutic techniques (in addition to listed specialties). I have a passion to encourage individuals to reach their maximum potential.
I currently offer only online therapeutic counselling to Ont. residents. I have a non-judgmental holistic approach. I treat the whole person, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, in reaching their maximum potential. I provide high empathy, appreciation and have a driven passion for diversity, inclusion and social justice for marginalized communities.
