It is my passion to walk alongside individuals as they navigate life's struggles. I work with both individuals and couples. Anxiety, depression, PTSD and chronic pain are often a part of my conversation with clients. I have come to understand that trauma is much more prevalent than I once understood. Most of us have experienced painful events, that have the potential to shape our understanding of who we are and of the world around us. I love to engage with others in the journey of discovering clarity and truth in order to process trauma. As this happens, our thoughts and belief systems change.
My hope is to invite clients into a safe, non-judgemental space where they can share openly. As a Christian I know that one's spiritual health plays a key role in our overall health.
I have done much study of how to best marry faith with Counselling tools, and I have learned a number modalities for including one's faith in the journey of healing.
I am also trained as Pain Reprocessing Therapist. PRT is effective in resolving neuroplastic chronic pain.
