Hello, I’m Joy (Yoonjeong) Choi, a Registered Social Worker in Alberta, Ontario, and Saskatchewan, and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCPA). I am an NIHB‑covered trauma counsellor and offer virtual EMDR sessions. I’m here to support you through life’s ups and downs with care and expertise. I work with clients experiencing OCD and anxiety disorders, depression, trauma and PTSD, stress and anger, and life transitions. My approach is evidence‑based and tailored to each person. I use EMDR for trauma healing and integrate somatic experiencing, attachment‑based repair, and DBT‑informed skills to support your unique needs.

In our first session, we’ll explore what has felt overwhelming or disconnected for you and begin finding the roots together. Throughout therapy, we’ll work gently with your body and emotions to help you feel grounded, clear, and more regulated.
