Today as a society there are so many stressors that we have to deal with on an individual basis such as mental illness, trauma, struggles with addiction, work and relationship stress that can impact our overall ability to function and succeed. Going through any of these struggles alone is a near impossible task and I am happy that you are looking for someone to walk along with you through life's challenges.
In my three years of counselling I’ve work primarily around trauma with both teens and adults. I also have experience in emotional regulation and treating substance use disorders. I offer both compassionate listening as well as tools that can help with the struggles that you are currently facing.
Life can be overwhelming sometimes, but it can become much more manageable when you have someone to help you work through it. Beyond Blame
Beyond Blame is a group that supports men to move beyond abusive behaviours and to build healthy relationships. This is an 18 hour program for men who want to stop being abusive and learn ways to build relationships based on equality and mutual respect. You may want to consider participating if you are a man who is at risk, or has a history of abusing others; or if you want to address power and abuse in relationships.
