Hello! I’m a Social Worker offering clinical expertise and therapy to those navigating the bumps and barriers of life. As a cis-gendered bi-racial 2SLGBTQ+ identified person, I appreciate the complexities and challenges that life has to offer especially from a cultural and racial lens. If you are struggling with anxiety, stress, or depression, and seeking support in navigating these challenges or just looking to do some soul searching, let’s connect! Let’s find out how we can move towards living life more meaningfully even when life gets in the way.
It’s important that our sessions feel comfortable and safe. My approach is strength & recovery-based: not trying to “fix you”, and appreciating your ability to survive while finding ways to thrive. My approach to therapy is eclectic: I use CBT, ACT, IPT, mindfulness, DBT skills, and EMDR. And, I practice from a culturally adaptive and curious space.
I practice from a trauma-informed lens. I'll always approach our sessions with kindness and compassion while also being authentic and honest. Therapy is a relationship with rich conversations: I will do my best to be transparent and genuine so we can build trust, and I always invite that in return as we work together towards your therapeutic goals.
