My nearly 15 years of professional experience in the non-profit sector, where I supported families affected by chronic illness, coupled with my lived experiences as a dementia family caregiver, have shaped my understanding of these issues and inform my approach to counselling.
I provide a warm, caring and collaborative atmosphere that empowers people to face obstacles, harness strengths, and ascend to the best versions of themselves. My approach is grounded in Client-Centered and existential philosophy and integrates tools from Cognitive Behavioural, Solution-Focused, Narrative, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy modalities.
