Hi. I’m Johann (pronounced “Yo-Han”). I’ve been a therapist for over 30yrs mostly working with children and families. For the past decade+ I also work in In-Patient Mental Health: Psychiatry (Adult/Children) in Hamilton/Halton Region along with private practice. I bring insight and knowledge to help people navigating challenges that emerge from a wide range of mental health and addiction difficulties such as mood disorders, emotion dysregulation, suicide ideation, self-harm, trauma, grief and loss, separation and divorce, borderline personality disorder traits, OCD, ODD and ADHD other developmental difficulties.

I take a contemporary approach and use time-tested techniques to help you achieve your goals while fostering hope and confidence. I balance the use of proven measurement and evidence-based processes with an eclectic blend of therapies. I temper this approach with compassion and the knowledge that you are the driver of extent of the changes you want.
