ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS and FREE CONSULTATION...My name is Joe and I am a registered social worker who currently works with youths and families at a mental health organization in Ontario, Canada. I bring over ten combined years of experience from my work with individuals, youth, couples and families. I share the intention of collaborating on better mental health outcomes for my clients and believe in creating the right environment for your success. However, I acknowledge that I am not the expert of your life - I am only an expert of your mental health process, someone that walks with you side by side on your mental health journey.
My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative, finding a balance between different evidence-informed approaches that are anti-oppressive, strength based and most importantly therapy that caters to your mental health goals.
I don't believe in therapy that adheres to strict modalities. Instead, I believe therapy includes curiosity and non-judgmental conversation which centers around your lived experiences. I can receive cryptocurrency (i.e. Bitcoin, Ethereum etc) as fee.
