Manage life transitions and start living your life in line with your own values and beliefs. Together we will create a safe relationship to explore looking at your life in a new way. I am always open to changing the course of therapy if it doesn’t work for you. I use empathy, relationship, insight, and unconditional positive regard as the foundation for our work together.
I use my career as a nurse to inform my counselling and I can provide a unique and holistic perspective on mental health. I use practical techniques like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, and more artistic techniques such as Existential Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy, to help individuals, teens, and couples.
I am a partner in the therapy process with a long history of working beside others to achieve their own needs and to reflect their own values and beliefs in a non-judgmental relationship of unconditional positive regard. And all the above I use with humour and kindness to make the difficult road a little easier to navigate.
