Jodey is a Registered Psychologist with over 30 years experience in health care and works with adults and seniors with complex problems in all areas of life. Jodey makes the complex simple so clients can understand causes of problems and what to do to change. Jodey helps clients who have experienced betrayals of love and trust over their lifetime (complex traumas) and have developed survival strategies such as self-neglect, people pleasing, shutting down, constant readiness for danger, and not trusting happiness. She weaves psychology treatments that work best for each client into therapy conversations.
Jodey uses Accelerated Resolution Therapy and Emotional Freedom technique to help reset the alarm center of the brain, resolve trauma, and reduce emotional distress. Jodey is a therapist for therapists and understands the unique needs of therapists in therapy. She also provides Preparation and Integration for therapeutic Psychedelic Treatment.
In the first sessions clients can expect a conversation that simplifies problems and clarifies a path for treatment. Jodey likes to provide interventions change for what matters to clients right away in the first session.
