There are seasons in life where gleaning perspective and insight are necessary to navigate diverse circumstances, pivot in the midst of challenges or find a safe space to process. My experience as a third culture kid from South East Indian decent, international living and teaching in the Philippines, being in a mixed marriage, a mother of 3, all provide a unique perspective on cultural fusion, family and life. My professional experience as a teacher provides strength in supporting school avoidance, and work stress. Anxiety, depression, grief, neurodiversity, parenting, relationships, school challenges and stress are areas of focus.
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist, offering a collaborative, creative, culturally sensitive, compassionate, and strengths-based therapeutic approach. My specialized training includes narrative therapy, basic and parent/child attachment EMDR, adoption training, step parenting training, leadership, play therapy, and Gottman couples therapy level 1 .
Clients have described me as kind, empathic, and accepting. It is an honour to work with clients in understanding core values, identifying goals and building a genuine therapeutic connection. I invite you to acknowledge that you are worthy to take this time toward holistic wellness and envision new possibilities! I look forward to meeting you.
