I often work with individuals struggling in the areas of: adoption/foster care, anxiety, OCD, caregiver burnout, childhood abuse, depression, grief/loss, identity issues, narcissistic abuse, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, self-harm, spiritual abuse, trauma and more. Using a client-centered, eclectic, and evidence-based approach, I offer a caring and compassionate listening ear. Coping skills and strategies are interspersed to help you move forward and navigate through life.
Beyond an MA in Counselling Psychology, I trained in DBT, EFIT (Level 1, and Level 2 in progress), narrative therapy, narcissistic abuse, Safe and Sound Protocol to reset the nervous system, and some IFS. I am also an "adoption competent" therapist through the Adoption Council of Ontario.
